\u201cTo make the list of The Wall Street Journal\u2019s 250 best-managed companies is quite an honor,\u201d Davis said, \u201cand to be ranked in the top 10 is especially exciting and humbling.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, nearly 800 companies were scored. Placement on the list is determined by a company\u2019s strength in five components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Employee engagement and development<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Social responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Financial strength<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    We placed first in customer satisfaction and were one of seven companies to score in the top 20% in each of the five components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cCustomer satisfaction is directly tied to the innovation we bring and the benefit we can deliver for patients,\u201d Davis told The Wall Street Journal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Top ranking for corporate citizenship <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In addition to our Wall Street Journal recognition, we\u2019re deeply honored to be ranked No. 1 on Newsweek\u2019s 2024 list of America\u2019s Most Responsible Companies<\/a>. This marks our first time in the lead spot, a distinction that affirms our steadfast commitment to operating responsibly and doing good for people and the planet.  <\/p>\n\n\n
